Jodie began her career as a graduate accountant with one of Australia’s leading petroleum companies, where she spent 10 years building a strong foundation across a range of roles and developing a practical, well-rounded approach to accounting. She later took time out to focus on her family, while staying connected to her passion for numbers by volunteering as Treasurer for Non-profits. Upon returning to the workforce, she transitioned into tax accounting within small public practice firms, gaining hands-on experience with a diverse client base. With the support of strong mentors, she has continued to expand her skills and expertise in tax accounting. Jodie enjoys the variety and client interaction that public practice offers and is known for being adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering practical, client-focused outcomes. She also has a strong enthusiasm for cloud-based accounting and particularly enjoys using Xero to improve efficiency and support her clients.
